Diana L. S. Wadsworth Greetings All My name is Diana. I am Jerry's youngest daughter. I used to work full time with horses and now I help out at the Tax Office. Even though I miss the exciting life with Kentucky thoroughbreds, and Idaho Racehorses, I am happy contributing my efforts to the Office now and learning how I can help you all efficiently with tax, bookkeeping, and payroll tasks. I do still dab into the horse world either working year round with Jerry's fine Appaloosas and traveling back to Kentucky each chance I get to work the Keeneland thoroughbred sales mostly for Denali Stud Consignment. My hobbies are enjoying the outdoors with my horses as well as fishing and helping with farm and ranch work. I have always enjoyed learning math and sciences thus the tasks at the office intrigue me greatly. A little bit of my history involves graduating from Blackfoot High School and then earning an Associate degree in Equine Studies from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho. It was through college that I learned of the Kentucky Equine Manager's Internship, (KEMI). It was that program that moved me to Kentucky where I fulfilled two internships working for the beautiful and educational Pin Oak Stud. After my time on the farm, I got involved with working thoroughbred sales which are very exciting and interesting to be a part of. I have witnessed thoroughbred horses sale from the ranges of $2,000 to $4 million. I am also a retired jockey. I earned my jockey license in 2005 and raced at the Sandy Downs Race Track in Idaho Falls. I enjoyed exercising horses as well as helping to coax them to the finish line during live races. An accident that happened the fall of 2005 at the Malad Race Track left me on crutches for a short time in which I reevaluated my career options. I began assistant race horse training for Shawn Davis and thoroughly enjoyed that job. Unfortunately, the summer of 2006 training did not end as planned. While riding my own horse in a schooling race I endured a traumatic brain injury, (TBI) that took me to Saint Alphonsus hospital in Boise for a months time. Fortunately I have been lucky and able to work hard at recovery and do not feel to many repercussions of the accident. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting and am gaining experience learning from the office itself. I look forward to working for you!
